Arcus joins forces with Flusk: our apps will be certified in cybersecurity

From now on, all applications developed by Arcus will be certified and monitored by Flusk, the leading cybersecurity company in the field of no code.

Arcus is the first and currently only Spanish-American agency to partner with Flusk, a company that won the Bubble Award 2023 for its contribution to the development of tools that are helping to keep confidential data used when developing applications within Bubble safe and compatible.

With this alliance, Arcus once again demonstrates that it is not only leading the development of no-code in Latin America, but that it is also facing one of the great challenges of our time: the strengthening of cybersecurity.

According to the most recent Global Risks Report published by the World Economic Forum, the lack of cybersecurity is now in eighth place among the 10 most important global risks that will threaten humanity in the next decade. In this regard, alliances such as that of Arcus and Flusk are more than necessary.

Why is the focus on cybersecurity so relevant in no-code development?

The growing popularity of no code has revolutionized the software development landscape, allowing individuals and even agencies with little technical experience to create functional applications. This ease of use doesn't come without challenges, especially when it comes to cybersecurity. Some of these challenges include:

  1. New vulnerabilities: Easy access to the use of non-code platforms has led to new vulnerabilities. Some users do not have professional technical knowledge and this introduces security risks into the applications they develop.
  2. Confidentiality and data protection: Another critical aspect of no-code development is data confidentiality and protection. Non-code development doesn't always have a clear focus on cybersecurity, making some applications susceptible to attacks.
  3. Vulnerable hidden code: Although non-code platforms hide the complexity of the source code, the code is still present in the background, and if not properly managed, it can be vulnerable to attacks and other malicious intent.

For these reasons, no code agencies, and in general all no code developers, must ensure that their applications are secure and not just functional.

About Flusk

Flusk was founded in 2022 by two Product-Lovers, Wesley Wasielewski and Victor Nihoul. It currently offers services such as Penetrate, the most comprehensive security and intrusion auditing of no-code.

With this audit, Flusk engineers go deeper into the limits of applications developed with Bubble, to find leaks or errors. In addition, after the audit, the Flusk team gives advice for implementing sustainable solutions that serve to solve the problems detected.

Among other achievements, Flusk was awarded the Bubble Award 2023, for his work to create resources that allow teams of all sizes, worldwide, to develop applications in Bubble with an important focus on cybersecurity.

The latest

In short, less than a month after announcing that our founder and CTO, Emilio López Romo, was selected as part of the Bubble Certification Advisory Committee, Arcus once again demonstrates that it is leading the professionalization of no-code in Latin America, this time partnering with Flusk.

This action makes Arcus the first non-code agency in Latin America with an external security certificate. And this will undoubtedly benefit companies and in general anyone who decides to develop their applications with Arcus, since they will be sure that their applications will be impassable.
